(RESIDENT Costume Designer, MENTOR, USA LOCAL 829) As resident designer for PURE, productions include A Doll’s House, Part 2, Small Mouth Sounds, Straight White Men, This Random World, Fun Home, The Royale, If I Forget, Father Comes Home from the Wars: Parts 1, 2 & 3, Our Mother’s Brief Affair, Curious Case of the Watson Intelligence, A Sudden Spontaneous Event, Marie Antoinette, Other Desert Cities, The Birds, Parhelia,The Vibrator Play, Eurydice, Faith Hope & Charity, Rabbit Hole and more as well as mentoring and supervising guest designers. Janine is the Chair and Costume Design Professor for the Department of Theatre & Dance at the College of Charleston, where she regularly designs and mentors all the costume design students for the department’s season.
