has acted at PURE in Marie Antoinette, Glengarry Glen Ross, Folly Beach, Penelope, Clybourne Park, The Motherf**ker with the Hat, The Elaborate Entrance of Chad Deity, Love Song, A Behanding in Spokane, Next Fall, Race, and Superior Donuts, among others. He is a two-time KCACTF award-winning playwright for his plays TALK and The Mind’s I. He has performed at Carolina Actors Studio Theatre in Charlotte and at Horizon Theatre Company in Atlanta, GA, where he starred in The Last Days of Judas Iscariot (Judas) and wrote Fall Into Sunlight, which had its world premiere there. Other recent work includes acting in A Raisin in the Sun at Footlight Players. He directed Topdog/Underdog by Suzan-Lori Parks at the Footlight Players. Michael is a graduate of the College of Charleston with a degree in theatre.
